Every year for husband E's birthday, I attempt to recreate his Mother's apple pudding. Each year I write new notes to remember for the following year. The first year of marriage, we had the challenge of trying to find the recipe. In the last month a friend gave me a recipe that her husband's Aunt in England used. They were the same! I am not able to ask my Mother in Law for her tips as she died just before we were married. Last night husband E thought it tasted just right, even though it did not look as he remembered!
