Same here, my baby started high school today and he didn't even want me to help him carry his big lot of books. He said "see ya mum" and I, sad faced wandered back to the car and home to a quiet house.

I hope that your 2 children enjoyed their first day back at school today. You are so lucky that you schools go back so late after Christmas etc - ours went back here in the first week of January already !
