We read Luke 1:1-23 today.
Zechariah sees an angel, the angel Gabriel. The angel tells Zechariah that his wife Elizabeth will have a baby. This baby will be John.
We have four long readings leading up to the birth of Christ. We also have an Advent Calendar with daily verses which we will read at the dinner table.
